IPIX went whole hog into Covid for the past couple of years due to the worldwide need for some sort of solution to this major problem and in all honesty it still looks like B could be a great solution to meet an unmet need in regards to solving the infection problems w/ Covid sufferers.
We knew (IMO) that the FDA, INH, Big Pharma, and Hedge Funds all seemed to be stacked against B reaching commerciality (at least if not in partnership w/ a BP) yet we put all our eggs in the clinical trial for B and got bit in the ass by the above players (again IMO). But we did have something wonderful come out of those 2 years in that the govt, thru their Bio Labs, researched B against 20+ of the worst viruses and IN LABS it seems to have worked pretty darn good. I am assuming this by the scheduled presentation to the Military Forum in late Sept. and expect that B will be recognized as a broad based antiviral solution. I think this will greatly help mankind and IPIX shareholders in the future.
So all in all, my only fault aimed at IPIX was not calling off the trial when all the rules were changed and the dice were loaded against B. They should have called FDA out by refusing to spend the money to test B against Covid and let the govt pay the tab if they seriously wanted to see if B was a possible game changer on the Covid scene.
Now w/ the Payer Analysis we know that our money should have been spent on IPIX conducting a P3 trial for OM BY OURSELVES so our share of the pie when a partnership is announced would have been a lot larger. Not upset about this as we did not have such data.
If you have not read the article I attached, recommend you do it as the numbers go up SIGNIFICANTLY from what the original OM market was predicted to be.
I like our current position in many areas, but I no longer discuss timing as to when shareholders may see some relief from the dismal state of the share price as it only seems to lead to disappointment. I will expect little to nothing so I can only be elated in the future and not let down should things continue to move slowly.
