I'm 73, have a pacemaker, had 2 heart attacks, 2 strokes am not in good physical condition, I am just now getting over covid after about 6 weeks. Had a temperature for 3 or 4 days, a terrible cough, some other minor symptoms, it gave me a pneumonia. Not sure if I have long covid, but maybe. I read that Omicron is less likely to result in long covid, but there are so many variables and speculations and guesses.
We decided I would not go into the hospital no matter how bad I got, and I would absolutely not take any remdesivir. I did take 6 days of Ivermectin, not sure what it did for me, it may have prevented worse covid.
My covid was not like a mild cold, had much phlem, terrible persistent cough that prevented sleep. It was a bad Omicron. I would have taken leronlimab if available. My next booster will be Novavax.
