First, look for institutional ownership of OTC stocks you might be interested in. Then, look for insider buying at market price in the recent past. Those are generally pretty good indicators.
SFOR, Zerify, has none and none of the above and no one in their right mind should invest in it, just on the basis of the above, not to mention, etc. But just because this is a sketchy stock doesn't mean they all are. Do research that doesn't rely primarily on anonymous stock message boards.
