What if a good business plan was to line up as many suitors as possible for each indication we are in at least a phase 2 and then tell them after we will settle our arbitration in this calendar year we will sign a partnership deal.
Then when things unfold and if we reap a big settlement we don’t have to partner with anyone? Or maybe we do only one partnership because we need that foot in the door that big Pharma can help us get our first indication approved. Then our trials and other indications become easy peasy and we need no further help… would that be some kind of great business plan? We can only hope the cards play like that. Am I being to optimistic? Probably huh… a guy can dream of good paths. How we ride the magic carpet in these paths is what we can only hope for. It sounds good but will probably not happen this way.
My biggest hope now is we get a new CEO who is worth his/her weight in gold and has been there and done it all. We need leadership like that right now. So communication can improve and investor sentiment is re-established. You would think by now the candidate pool has shrunk enough to start the offers and compensation conversation of a at least one CEO candidate. They said they were excited at the potential candidates. Let’s get this person hired and hear the direction that this person will lead us.
