As you speak of Spiritual Warfare
that has been placed on my heart for a few months now. As part of the blessings that are to come through the discovery of oil in Israel, I had it placed on my heart to start a Spiritual Warfare Training Camp called Word Smiths. A place where we study the word of God using Ephesians 6 as our guide to prepare ourselves to do full on battle with the powers of the air.
Jesus is the Word, the tongue speaks life and death, we are more powerful than we know. This power was given through the gift of grace to be His children accepted in the Beloved. We are literally Jesus on earth. His body that stands in the way of the evil one until we are taken out of the way by the rapture. Until then, we need to stand firm.
But to stand firm, we first need to be able to recognize evil and then be able to confront it with the word of God. We need to be aware of how powerful we actually are. We need to train up warriors in the face of evil. We need to become Word Smiths - skilled users of His words. Knowing what to speak and when to speak it.
The new generation of Christians are unaware of the power of the air. They have not been trained to combat evil. The school shootings are a prime example. They call these kids who do the shootings Monsters. By demonizing them, we neglect looking into what made them Monsters. The kids who do this are possessed for lack of a better term. They have no remorse, no regard for life. They do not know that they are under attack. They need to be able to recognize it quickly before it becomes a strong hold and destroys them.
How do we get them to recognize evil when it is after them at the beginning? How do we teach them the words to fend it off.
I could go on, but for now that is enough.
One book you may or may not have read is the Peter Goodgame, "Red Moon Rising". It biblically places the rapture as pre-trib. It's one of the formative books for me. I will look into the books you have mentioned.
Looking forward to the successful completion of this well so that I can move on to the next phase of my life within His will.
