Complainers are like deleted posts here. No one sees or cares about those begging for attention. Bring back the phone book for them.
Verb didn't mention Doll 10 yesterday and only mentioned ASTOURI the same day as the live event. Up to these vendors to market their show as much as they want. Weren't people complaining there wasn't any to see. Not that some store opened up to everyone, they move onto to the next thing to complain about.
Attendance will always very. Maybe some have a lot of fans and others don't. Thanks fine. Gotta start someplace. Maybe some want to get a little practice in before all the stores open on Market. It's not as easy as it looks to be in front of the camera for 30-60 minutes as it looks.
I watched Live shopping events from every site I could find and the audience size ranges wildly from single digits on up.
What I liked about Doll 10 (I watched the replay) is they had to ladies on camera. One would watch the chat. Even at some point she said, if I'm not looking at the camera it's because I'm reading the comments on chat.
It's good to keep in mind, not everyone is sitting around waiting for Doll 10, ASTOURI and others to do a LIVE event so they can attend. People have jobs, families and other obligations. The fact that anyone is attending Market, NTWRK, Fireworks, talkshoplive, etc. is a very good thing as it shows Live shopping is taking off. Outside of APMEA, many attending a LIVE event is their first time.
I also mentioned this before. As an example, if Ryobi runs a TV commercial, it doesn't mean I'm going to run out to the store that moment and buy a tool, but it does make the brand relevant and top of mind for when I do. Marketing is not always about immediate sales, but I hear sales at the LIVE events are good. Common sense would tell you they'd have to be better than a tweet on twitter or a post in Instagram. For very little time and money, these brands whether small or large can market on Market.
I've seen enough LIVE events that I'm comfortable on the progress that is happening so likely won't tune into another one unless it's something in a category that interest me.
