Because if leronlimab crosses on its own in sufficient quantity, leronlimab can be used as delivery vehicle.

Just attach whatever payload molecule you like to the tail end of the leronlimab.

Then when leronlimab crosses, make the payload molecule dissociate.

Then you can target anything and everything in the CNS, including B-cells.

But the leronlimab itself wont have any effect on B-cells. Of course if you attached your favorite flavor of antigen to the tail end of the leronlimab, then your B-cell strategy might work perfectly.

CNS delivery is everything. that's why its important whether or not leronlimab croses on its own.
