I think, first of all, it's amazing that you married your high school sweetheart if you are still together. "You have chosen", as the movie line goes, "wisely".
As for being "content to let this play out", at this SP, assuming most of us are deep in the red, there's not really much choice. There's a difference between being content to letting it play out and being resigned to letting it play out. I am 70% down on my investment with an average SP of about $2.
I don't want or need the loss to offset anything, so while I am not content with ANYTHING that CYDY has done in the past 6 months, I am resigned to remembering that the science is good, some old management is gone, and we are all hoping that this silence actually means current management is doing something to finally move the ball forward in the correct manner. Cautiously optimistic. I no longer believe that this investment is so highly de-risked, as NP used to say. Would a $5 BO make me money? Yes. Is that what I want? HELL NO!
