I doubt this guy from the FDA had nothing better to do than survey the landscape for “violators.” More likely it came in response to a complaint (lots of suspects to feed into that line-up, no need to generate the list as they are all familiar to this board), or is FDA trying to get out ahead of any positive news from Brazil…as pointed out here, the spotlight at some point is going to be pointed at the FDA, and when the world realizes this drug was made to cross no-man’s-land and could have helped end the covid19 war much sooner with much reduced morbidity and mortality, it is not going to be a good look. If the latter, this letter not only contributes to damaging Cytodyn’s reputation unfairly (I rewatched the proactive video and don’t find anything egregious about it), but would only act to degrade FDA’s reputation further. The supreme irony to me is we get “trending toward significance” from Fauci regarding Remdesivir and that lack of scientific rigor is rewarded.
Would sure be nice to get any update from Brazil…one more reason now why we could use that news.
