There really isnt a "marketing mentality" left within Cytodyn. If you look at the Cytodyn banner page they took down all the press release headlines except for a handfull..I think its obvious now the only "marketeer" was NP. the rest are head's down science oriented people except the acting president who is a financial guy. All introvert types who were probably dragged screaming and kicking to every CC we had. That being said its one thing to be heads down getting the work done but at some point they do need to bring the team together with the shareholders and have a meeting. They can say up front it is purely an update on trials and no further information will be provided nor questions answered when it comes to partnerships , Amarex or other legal matters...theres plenty to speak to..Brazil, BTD for cancer being refiled (or not), NASH 700 topline, etc...
Its one thing not to be as :chatty" as NP but its another to go silent when we sit between 50 and 60 cents a share and we get cricketts..you dont need a new CEO to have a half hour "no questions" CC. and the argument of " dont have a cc because shorts will feed off of it" doesnt hold water in my mind. if you drop from 56 to 50 cents is it really going to impact your investment decisions ?
