Low institutional investor ownership is probably a good thing at this point. No lowball bids can be accepted by the board without shareholder approval and I think the malority of us would not go along.
This weekend I had lunch with a friend whoo works at Planar systems. It was a $60 stock until the chinese got a controlling interest then they bled it dry until the stock got to 25 cents. They bought a bunch back gave it to the 3 directors who then sold the remaining shares back to China co who then took it private.
Now all the techmology has been moved to China and he works from home
