Thanks and yes, my inquiry was serious. Seems many others on this board share my frustration at how slowly enrollment has been even with millions of cases in the country. And now we just assume that because even more are sick, we will enroll faster? I am not sure there is a direct correlation to that, because if it's that hard to enroll people and now Omicron isn't as deadly, I am just not sure people would be MORE likely to enroll now than before when it was deadlier.
Remember, there may be TONS of new cases, just as there have been in NY and CA, but the majority are mild enough that people do not require hospitalization.
