Tinnitus can also be caused by excessive clenching and grinding aka bruxism which is a common occurrence in most adults who own CYDY. During Covid , most end up w bad fevers and body aches and that could initiate or make it worst. Since the TMJ , condyles, is in close proximity to the ear canal the disturbances are often picked up by the tympanic membrane in form of a high pitched sound known as tinnitus. If you have a night gaurd , wear it and see if things get better. By keeping the teeth apart at nights you can decrease the load on your condyles hence reduce the inflammation. Take OTC anti inflammatory meds or natural remedies such as turmeric or arnica. Go see your dentist and have them make you a custom night guard.
Just be sure you don’t have sleep apnea since night guards are known to increase the incidents of apnea. I promise you one thing , as soon as our SP starts to rise , your issues will go away and the only thing you will hear is the sound of joy and praise from your spouse.
