I always wondered why more institutions don't do this.
3i, LP already has 1,239,00 shares of Verb
If you take the close of $1.28, they would be valued at $1,585,920
Why wouldn't you make an investment in the company at a very attractive rate (i.e. 6%) which will increase the value of your net holding and not dilute yourself for others?
So let's say positive financing, launch of Market, Verb.TV, VerbMailPro double or triple the share price rather quickly
Let's say triple. Now their existing shares are worth $4,757,760
Take the rise of that which is $3,171,840 and not only do you got your $3M back, but you have another 1M shares which would be FREE!!!
No brainer. Win-Win for them, the company and investors.
BTW: 3i, LP is also an investor in My Size, Inc which Verb was using on their Beta Market site
They also are an investor in Super League Gaming, Inc..
Hmmmm
Oh and for anyone that doesn't believe in funding let me know how how 99% of tech companies could have ever grown, including Salesforce, without it.
