MarketPlace was up and running from Q1 through the beginning of November. There were 40 something companies participating. That is a pretty good size for a beta. More and it would suck up a lot of your time with diminishing benefit. Every month there were a bunch of live events and new features were added. Beta concluded last month as they prepare to launch. I know a number of longs that watched it develop from Jan. onward. Remember last year, Rory did say they were launching a beta version which he did on time. So much for the jobless board trolls BS.

When I look at the companies' social media sites that participated, they were advertising and seems like they not only liked MarketPlace but were also having success. I expect the success would be equal to VerbLIVE at the beginning, but quickly go exponential after that. The reason why is at the beginning your are bring your own customers. Once it gets going you will get people that didn't know about your company, but popped in.

BTW, the company never told me about MarketPlace. As you said, I wouldn't dream of bothering them as Rory's email box is probably filled with people who could care less about his time and priorities. The information about what the company is doing, how successful it is, etc actually isn't hard to find. Many investors don't post it because you have trolls that like to do bad things and think they wont' get caught. Trolls also have this crazy idea that if they spend all day on a message board bashing a company, some longs will do the DD for them. Makes no sense to spend 8 hours doing that when a fraction is all one needs to figure out what stocks to invest in.
