My whole point was that if you assumed all these things
My whole point was that if you assumed all these things were very very effective and added all their effectiveness together it still leaves numerous people getting the covid. Some here want to get to zero covid and my point is that is not going to happen. Its logistically impossible. Once we realize that we can deal with the situation. But continuing to say that we can eliminate or prevent everyone from getting sick by the simple task of destroying civilization is not a viable solution.
What is the cost of kids not socializing. Kids not being able to read facial expressions. kids not learning by sitting on a zoom call. (we are losing a generation of kids who can least afford to not be educated) business with reduced revenue. problems in the ports. problems in travel. not being able to see family members. dads being forbidden from taking part in the birth of their own kids. now vaccinated people deathly afraid of the unvax'd. (i dont think there is any corollary to that in medical history) govt's tracking everyone and compiling lists. massive govt grant scamming (PPP, ESSER, etc) people being essentially paid to not work. the promise of masks forever. the promise of boosters forever. at one time you were on the "good" vax'd list but now you are naughty again because you dont have your booster. inability to see the data from the vax studies. hypocritical leaders wearing masks outdoors away from people then taking them off when they come up close to people in order to talk.
Its one thing to mitigate and be personally responsible for yourself. Its another thing to mandate, force closure, fire people, etc. If you want to get vax'd, get vax'd. Protect yourself. Personally i had covid, so i see no reason to get the shot. I trust my bodies ability over a manmade leaky vax, something that was pretty much medical common sense until this year.
nothing makes sense anymore. Which is the whole point.
there is a huge financial motivation to have stats padded. there is a big difference between death from covid and death with covid.
Some seem to have found a comfort in living in fear. I refuse to live in fear.
Published data about the flu last year is frankly not believable. There is frankly no way you have 300k covid and 1k flu. It just isnt logical. there was huge motivation to make it big bad and scary.
