I did see a documentary recently put out on Netflix about that LuLaRoe company that was very interesting to watch. A lot of people were really deceived into thinking they would make large amounts of money, plus the company changed the payout rules overnight with no warning when some sales reps did start making nice bonuses. Not only that, they made you buy a huge amount ($5000) of product to get started, and then left people holding the bag with product they could not sell or return. What a disaster that was, and the state of Washington successfully sued them for a huge amount of money for deceptive practices. They also would talk people into taking on huge amount of credit card debt to purchase inventory that they supposedly could sell, or in some cases take a second mortgage or other financing. They are obviously just one example of widespread practices in the MLM industry, where only the people more at the top of the pyramid make any real money.
On your and other's posts about the other place, glad everyone agrees that posting there is not only a waste of time, but helping feed the trolls. Like I said, I read it for entertainment purposes only, just to see how outrageous the lies are. One of these days I hope the liars like Mumbo get what's coming to them. I figure he has a large short position as I can kind of smell the desperation in his posts lately when the stock fails to go the direction he wants, after he initially gets ecstatic each time it seems to go down in the morning, only to reverse trend in the afternoon. It's fun to watch him sweat! Of course he's not the only one, there's the rest of the gallery of idiots over there. I usually just read the subject lines, it's enough to let me know the lies being posted, I hardly ever open up any of the posts.
