It appears that many of the behaviors that mitigate the risk of infection are frequently case aside after vaccination, leaving the many with a misplaced sense of security as Delta variants have spread and vaccine-induced protection has waned.
It would be profoundly unusual for these patients to more susceptible to severe illness than they would be having never been vaccinated.
