I agree that overtrading small degrees generally costs more than buy and hold. I’m not trying to convince anyone to sell or trade each whip. I called the bottom to encourage people to buy extra at that point if they could. When I set the $2.25 target people still couldn’t quite imagine it — I was encouraging them to hold for higher if they were inclined to shoe term profit. And still am.
But building a more sophisticated understanding of the volatility than conspiracy theories about 13-d/ shorts is good. I couldn’t have accumulated and kept such a large overweight position in CYDY without some sanguine worldview about volatility. Accumulating certificates and warrants through the private placements also helps avoid temptation to sell out at some bottom
