Maybe it is time for the decision makers to slowdo

From my layman’s understanding, two things happen in fighting a virus. First, antibodies (the infantry) is created to do battle. Then after the war is won (or you’re dead), the antibodies (infantry) is slowly retired, but the battle plans for creating a new army (antibodies) is stored away in memory T-Cells. If this is correct in its simplicity, then long term immunity can only be achieved if the “battle plans” are successfully and correctly stored (in T-Cells).
Will/has that happened? I think the current vaccines have been successful in “poking” the immune system into creating the antibodies (army), but the body after the battle needs to let the army stand down and see if the T-Cells can do its job. Only time will allow this to happen. We (science) knows that if the immune system is “poke” to often, auto-immune can take over and the “army” just goes berserk.
It looks to me that whomever is making the decision for a 3rd shot (hopefully not the drug companies look for more $$$) is concentrating on keeping the antibodies at a high level instead of letting the body complete its natural cycle.
Then again, I maybe just be full of baloney. Doc, feel free to shred my analysis. The last thing I want is to be a purveyor of misinformation.
