Snark, I would add to your post that QMC employees and those like Pasaca who are in direct contact with Squires are better able to see his character and integrity, and that affected their decision to stay with the company, too.
I've said before that Squires is working in the best interests of all shareholders. I see Squires in charge of QMC with Pasaca supporting his goals, I see new employees as expansion, and I see the proxy to clear up the share situation. Anything else that might be in the proxy is unknown.
