If you have been invested in or following this company for any length of time, you will have noted some subtle changes to the company website description. Once upon a time, the company was developing 'new technologies' for PRECIOUS METALS extraction. After a few iterations, it became a company with an extraction site in/near Kingman, Arizona. The image projected by the company went from a company with new extraction 'technologies' that were never successfully 'fully developed' or proven to extract precious metals to a company with a focus on PRECIOUS METALS mine sites acquisition and development, to the most current '...venture stage mineral exploration company '... that has now highlighted COPPER (notice it is listed in front of Silver and Gold in the company description'.
The company's transitions over the years has been fun to read; even slightly humorous. 'Special (precious metals) extraction technology' for which investors are still awaiting results; Rare Earth (lanthanides) mining, extraction, processing, and sale which has never materialized. Development of the Marcos property in Nevada which was, once upon a time, THE site with the MOSTEST! Yeah, nothing from that location in years!!! Of course investors still have that HUGE site near Kingman, Arizona that was all set to start producing precious metals (once permits, TESTING, ASSAYS, buildings, equipment, personnel, TESTING, ASSAYS, the weather got better, TESTING , ASSAYS....oh wait, that was already done but...oh what the heck let's tell them more TESTING , ASSAYS.... OK...OK.... NOTHING has been produced at this location after all these years. BUT....Pershing Resources joined up with yet another company (Yeah, there have been a few others but nothing ever developed and nothing was ever produced). For those who are curious, one company was also in Reno another in California...Pershing Resources also has an agreement with another Reno based company. With a little due diligence investors can find and laugh about the end results. Hint: NO PRECIOUS METALS were produced and no profits (MONEY) from a sale of Precious Metals were made that directly benefited Investors.
OK, the latest and greatest chuckle seems to be the company's allusion to a Base Metal...COPPER. For ALMOST 25 YEARS, investors have been presented with a constant flow of 'information' that focused on (ahem) exploration and development of Precious Metals locations. Yeah, 'something' may have been explored; still waiting for the development phase. Now investors see that COPPER is listed before Gold and Silver on the company site. Should investors be CURIOUS or FURIOUS?
Taking into account that the company has for almost 25 years promoted Precious Metals as the focus, why the switch to a base metal that currently sells for about $4/pound? Silver remains around $26/oz and gold is close to $1,800/oz. Yeah, CURRENTLY, extraction costs for Silver are high and the ROI may be somewhat questionable. Yeah, the Gold price has not been exceptional but at the CURRENT price, gold can be mined, processed and sold for a nice profit. One would think that AFTER ALMOST 25 YEARS, a company would have figured out how to effectively remove most, if not all, obstacles to mining for a profit. Don't forget!!! Investors have been told that the Company has some possible, maybe, could happen, sorta good looking properties that could , maybe, possibly have precious metals somewhere on sight. So....after 25 years of ZERO Production and Sale of Precious Metals, Copper is the new angle for potential , possible, maybe, could sorta happen mining exploration and development by Pershing Resources Company, Inc.
Can't wait for the NEXT 25 years!!! One has to wonder if BS can be mined(????). It certainly can be mass produced!!!
