US inflation number will be out next Thursday (Jun

US inflation number will be out next Thursday (June 10) and is anticipated to rise to 4.7%. Prices are rising in virtually everything as most consumer products are made up of agricultural products and metals whose prices have been surging amid surging money supply around the world chasing finite natural resources. It is a global phenomenon not under the control of US Federal Reserve, how long the inflationary trend will last is anyone's guess. Amid erosion of purchasing power of paper money, investors will flee to gold and mining stocks which have been rising since April.

Global mounting debts is a time bomb waiting to detonate with apocalyptic consequence. Should world governments decide to inflate themselves out of debt, a global runaway inflation will result, paper money will be good only for wall paper and toilet paper. Then what happened in China in the 1930's will happen in America: Currency consolidation (reverse split), forcing majority of the world population into poverty.

Raising interest rate and restricting and reducing money supply may temporarily stifle rising inflation but it could also stifle global economic growth, causing stock market crash and plunge the world into a steep recession/depression. Be aware that "The Crash of 1922" preceded the Great Depression of 1930's.
