The unfortunate circumstance is that mask wearing is becoming political, and no longer about Covid. I have seen and can show a plethora of accounts on Twitter that have stated that they will continue wearing masks so they won't be seen as a "Republican".
If people are vaccinated, they should not care if they around those who are not. If you can catch Covid while vaccinated, why get the jab? That just means vaccinated people can pass it to other vaccinated people, and we're back to square 1. Children and teens have shown, per the CDC to be an extreme low risk for Covid. States that have been open without masks support this data.
Those who didn't take the vaccine already weighed the risk for themselves. Vaccinated people should not be concerned about that. And if someone is in the predicament where you are not vaccinated and want it, continue to social distance and wear a mask until you do.
I've been to Tennessee in March. Life is literally business as usual with no issues. The family/friends that live down there have stated hospitals are in no way, shape or form overwhelmed or have an influx of Covid patients for months.
Just my take on it.
