I agree. Is a large country (app. 210 Million people) with a relatively sophisticated business environment.
And they are in dire need of drug(s) to treat their COVID surge. Unfortunately their leaders, as is often the case, did not respond adequately to the Pandemic and this is out of control, yesterday the had more than 4100 deaths !!!.
But, apart from potential revenue the real plus will be the ability to further our trials.
Brazil could speed up things dramatically if only we have "boots on the ground" (without the militaristic meaning) to guarantee the quality of the data so FDA don't have yet another excuse to hinder our application(s).
So, this news are indeed very good, the CC delay, I believe, was due to this event.
