So when a PR says such and such reduction in death rate, the general public may react with "wow" and "amazing" and the PR author may deceptively describe the results as "wow" and "amazing", but scrutiny may reveal that the data is not actually so significant.

It's easy to believe that we have the intelligence and technologies that are pushing discoveries on cutting edge biological advancements across the bio-tech industry and so many other sectors because it has been proven and backed by science, data and facts, yet there is so much corruption at every turn, in every industry, and most apparent, in our government and institutions, that it's seemingly difficult to understand and hard to believe we are moving at the rate we are when all things considered.
IMO much is to lay at the foot of corruption blocking advancement to control money and power. There are always skeptics and critics that try and sow doubt and fear in the minds of people with objectives that are sometimes obvious and sometimes deeply hidden to be kept secret because those in power control the money. For example, why does it take on average 10 years for a life saving drug to go to market?, is it the FDA, BP with deep pockets and power, the CDC, the SEC, the Fed or U.S. government, etc. etc. ? Yes, perhaps all and more?!?
Leronlimab's efficacy and life saving benefits are going to be disclosed soon and we will all be better off as long as NP and company can navigate and catapult through the corruption that we all know exists, which IMO he will. Also, IMHO, after many deep dives into the science and data, I believe LL is a breakthrough lifesaving drug. Most morally sound scientists I think would agree that LL has been on the shelf for way too long and the world is waiting for this discovery. Just like it has been way too long waiting for the cure for cancer?!? - We should have a cure for cancer by now considering the limitless amounts of money granted for studies and therapies to treat and cure all types of cancers...why don't we have? - greed and corruption perhaps?!?
