DJ - rather than testing and mask wearing for the next decade,
P19 - If you want to be around other people, you wear a mask. Yes, it is an inconvenience, but it is the price that must be paid to be among other people. You cannot guarantee you do not have Covid unless there is mass testing (which protects others) and wearing a mask (which protects you - what's wrong with that?) and washing with hot water and soap so you don't get it by physical contact. The mask is your strongest defense against Covid. Get the best mask you can. Nothing is more important than your health. The young don't understand -they think they are invulnerable. Your better idea has to be better than what I stated and I do not know what that could be.
DJ: and spending trillions on Covid bills that will eventually break the US.

This article arrived in my mailbox today and it says that it will be July or the fall before we can start to see the pandemic recede enough to return to the New Normal, which is still undefined. I had a great childhood in the '50's but we're never going back there again. Today is what we have and tomorrow is yet to be seen.
