Riteaid under pays their technicians. I am in a state where the BOP allows National Certified technicians to become certified vaccine specialists.
I currently give vaccines every day. I have never been compensated for my training cost. And after two years I am not compensated for being the main vaccinator in my pharmacy.
Now I will also be doing the Covid vaccine. I am excited to be part of the effort to get a shot in every American.

Insurance companies underpay, State Medicaid underpays, Medicare underpays. The Profession needs to say “No”. Pay our profession fairly so we can pay our professionals fairly. I did when I ran Rite Aid. Takes Leadership.
