Additionally, the region saw a surge of 14.9% in electronics exports, with major markets including mainland China, ASEAN countries, the EU, the US, and Taiwan.

Hong Kong's innovation landscape has been recognized internationally, with the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou science and technology cluster ranking second globally in the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Global Innovation Index.
