In the last (linked) post regarding possible 'big' reasons for the large uptick in the last couple of trading hours on friday, I overlooked what should have been a very obvious possibility. The 3rd OEM deal.
The reason it might have spurred that last minute trading is that it might be significantly larger than the previous two. Although, getting larger than DJO and KT Tape is a tall order in and of itself. Stada, Medtronic, Dr. Scholl's? The thinking might be, well, anyone can get the first one and so we'll wait and see. Then KT happened which probably got their attention, as if the first one shouldn't have (?). But not everybody is as brilliant as you and I, eh?
A third OEM might be, like, well, 3rd one's a charm. The only problem with that mode of thinking is the two chairman's letters clearly laid out the plan. The 'kicker' for me, and for most right thinking people, is that without a 'safe harbor statement' the chances of his letters containing questionable and/or misleading information is slim-to-none. And Slim left town ages ago. A man of his stature and prestige risking prison time for 15 min of fame? Don't think so.
And, finally, possible buyout. I don't think this is a reasonable choice as BIEL has a lot on it's plate at the moment. A year from now, definitely it is a possibility presuming, of course, the trend of more deals, sales, revenue leading to some serious profits continues.
But wait, there's more! (you knew that was coming) ... how about an FDA clearance for Allay? And there is a deal announced regarding the use of our product for all our friends, customers, loyalists, shareholders of the female variety. Or expanding a bit, another indication for Migraine headaches and/or something to do with treating internal conditions, w/ kidney stones, for example, thus widening to a considerable degree what our PEMF tech can be used for.
Anyway, food for thought. Dare to dream the impossible.
