Doc, yes and no. I agree stock should be multiples of where we are, but I disagree about the dilution aspect. That is only true if one accepts the overall market value of GNBT/NGIO is around $25 million. That is still a major sticking point in my mind - with all that is going on, how can "the market" only value this at $25 million, regardless of dilution from 70 to 110 million shares? There is something else going on that we aren't aware of, and since it doesn't look like accumulation (too many large blocks being put up for sale in the $.19 - .23 range), it seems to me it might be someone is trying to kill the company before it can get a foot hold.
Yes, maybe someone like Oasis is selling their shares for a quick profit which is keeping the price down. But is that realistic with all the news about Malaysia, China, AE37, Excellegan, etc, etc? I don't believe even vulture capitalists are going to ignore the possibility of making 10 to 100 times on their money if it only means to hold off selling for 6 months to a year. There appears to be hundreds of other "companies" that need financing that show far less promise than GNBT that could be a replacement cash flow for Oasis, if that is all they are looking for.
This again to me is why spinning out NGIO is so important (get off your butts, SEC and give us the S1 registration!!!!) - that establishes an actual value for a portion of the company that is based on a realistic market evaluation. Sure, whatever pps is assigned can be shorted down, but if real investors put up hard money for shares at some value, if you are artificially trying to kill the company (naked shorting, producing that never ending stream of available shares we seem to see day in and out?), would you continue that effort? With the unlimited upside potential, I'm not sure any rational entity would at the level we have observed over the last year.
I probably should take off the tin hat now that the black helicopters seem to have cleared the area. Happy New Years, all.
