It's been
a while seen I have used the LDS site. I have found error's. You have to do the leg work to be accurate. Some people don't.
Yes, I have been influenced by many ideologies over my 61 years. I try to keep a open mind. I probably won't fall into mainstream religious theology or ideology as I apply science into the equation. Mormons would be considered Zionists. The RLDS aspect as well as the LDS have many splits as do other Religions. As a result of those experiences I rely more on Faith than those that adjust their theology to fit their need to control people. The practice of Polygamy however is only prevalent in a few divisions in the church...and is a culture and practiced accepted by both parties of consenting adults. Where the problem arises is age of consent. 18 in westerner culture by law. However that wasn't always the case and still isn't practiced in a minority circle of society not limited to just the Mormon Religion.
At 61 years of doing the socially accepted dance. I am a little more accepting of other practices. After 60 there is about 1 man to every 4 women in the age group above 60. That division increase quickly as we get older. I am finding more and more women over 60 are Bi and or flirting with the idea. This has accelerated even more, due to the present state of the male population under 60.
