Chad Fischl
CEO / President
One of the original founders of YXE labs, a Western Canadian based chemical manufacturing, distribution, and automation company. Chad’s experience managing teams in innovative businesses started a decade ago and have ultimately lead to the conception of AeroGrow Manufacturing Corp. As President and CEO of AeroGrow Chad will leverage his experience in chemical manufacturing, automation, and agriculture to lead the team to produce the highest quality indoor agriculture solution available to the market.
Wayne Hansen
CFO / Director
Mr. Hansen has an extensive history of corporate fiscal management, currently serving as the President of Caulfield Capital Management Inc., a position he has held since 2004. Before working with Caufield Capital Management, Inc., Mr. Hansen was a managing partner of Asia Liaison and a practice partner of BDO Dunwoody. At Asia Liaison his duties included the development of both short- and long-term strategic planning, client development and retention. Due to Mr. Hansen’s experience in financial oversight, public companies, mergers and acquisitions as well as his ability to manage both large and small projects, we believe that Mr. Hansen will be a valuable addition to our Company.
Oleksandr (Alex) Alba
VP of Agronomy
Mr. Alba was raised in a family of agricultural engineers in the southern part of Ukraine. He holds BSc in Agronomy/Crop Science from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in Kiev. Inspired by Canadian agriculture, he pursued a Master of Science degree focused on organic agronomy and non-chemical weed management. During his studies in Canada, he was invited as a speaker to 7 conferences and 8 field days, filmed and directed 3 extension videos and developed 6 one pager extension sheets for organic producers in Canada. Additional to Alex’s education, he has provided agronomic consulting to a variety of different agricultural organizations. Alex envisions that by merging cutting-edge science together with natural principles, we can redefine food production systems which may pledge the alliance of local and global communities.
Dustin Maki
VP of Procurement & Technical Integration
Mr. Maki graduated from University of Saskatchewan with an accounting degree in 2016. Throughout his studies Mr. Maki always had an interest in entrepreneurship and viewed the world through an entrepreneurial lense. After graduation Mr. Maki started a 3D Printing business, Create Cafe, with the goal of giving the general public access to the dynamic technology of additive manufacturing inside of a cafe. Mr. Maki has always been an early adopter of technology and looking forward to using his creativity to accomplish the ambitious goals of AeroGrow Manufacturing Corp.
