America 1st hasn't given us a COVID case/deaths advantage, nor an economic advantage, nor a foreign policy advantage, having alienated allies and supported, uncritically, authoritarian ass-hats like Putin.
You bought Trump's wildly exaggerated estimate of pandemic deaths, which he trotted out to try and make his half-assed effort seem effective.
Those were 'if we do nothing' numbers. Instead we've got 'if we do next to nothing', if we downplay it, disparage social distancing, mask wearing and shutdowns, numbers.
He f'in lied about the seiousnous of the virus when he knew better. You heard Trump's words on Woodward's tape.
I guess it wasn't a 'perfect interview', for Trump.
