I worked with a biotech company years ago which was primarily researchers and small support organizations. It totaled 300 people during phase 3 fast track trials. 9 months later they had 1200 people in their company. So I wouldn’t count on any form of dividend here..
Of course Cytodyn would/will have to grow. And if they did have to pay those extra 900 accountants and logistics folk, say, $150K a year apiece, that would cost them $135 million a year. So if NP rakes in the $7 billion a year he's talking about, that would only leave the company.... $6.865 billion. Though a pipe dream it surely is, by pipe-dream standards a dividend is not so outlandish.
Or, as Charles Foster Kane says, "You're right, I did lose a million dollars last year. I expect to lose a million dollars this year. I expect to lose a million dollars *next* year. You know, Mr. Thatcher, at the rate of a million dollars a year, I'll have to close this place in... 60 years."
