Companies that are in fast growth mode meaning zero revenue to a couple of billion , rarely if ever pay a dividend . And if Cytodyn decides to go it alone after Covid approval they will have to build a whole company, not just a research type company. Sales, accounting, legal dept, logistics , IT and other organizations will have to either be started or grow like crazy. I worked with a biotech company years ago which was primarily researchers and small support organizations. It totaled 300 people during phase 3 fast track trials. 9 months later they had 1200 people in their company. So I wouldn’t count on any form of dividend here..
