They haven't turned a profit in one year out of 20. That should tell you all you need to know about 1) their marketing skills 2) the viability of the company and 3) management's overall performance.
This is not at all how business works. You don't try the channel partner method of marketing for 16 years without any success and then say, oops, oh well, we tried. Should they give it another 16 years or maybe should they have been trying something else, too?
