Crunch, owning your own data is under attack by companies that want to sell your data for their own profits, without any consideration of your welfare.

What is the purpose of a HealthID App?
It is so YOU can prove your health status to who you want to, your family, your employer, or to get into an entertainment event, or an airplane flight, for example. Nobody wants XXX Corporation to tell the world that you do or not have Covid so they can make money off your condition in their own databases.

Its important that the first reveals of QDX HealthID emphasized the importance of protecting your data and keeping it solely in the Testee's control.

Back on April 11, 2020, Jay Williams participates in the Atlantic Council webinar entitled, Strategic standards now, so people can return to work soon. See it here - https://youtu.be/q_gWFAPRPus

It is an open discussion about the ethics and morals of protecting an individual's data and health status. So from very early on QMC based their Health Status ID App with the individual's privacy built-in, not just "added-on" later as an afterthought, or in the case of Abbott, purposefully ignored.
