Dear Bill,
The Society for Information Display (SID) Display Week is the world’s largest event for electronic displays, bringing together the industry's next-generation display content creators, technologists, suppliers, manufacturers and consumer electronic brands.
Nanolumi exhibited for the first time at Display Week 2020 from August 3-7, held on a new virtual tradeshow platform this year. We debuted a variety of new prototypes, including:
World's first 32" perovskite QD 4K HDR mini-LED display (prototype)
24" wide colour gamut edge-lit LCD monitor
10" tablet with colour performance superior to the Apple iPad Air
Enjoy the video below to see these demos in action!

World’s First 32” Perovskite QD 4K HDR
MiniLED Display
A 32” hybrid perovskite QD-phosphor display that offers full array local dimming with >1000 local dimming zones, superior colour performance of 100% sRGB, >99% Adobe RGB, >99% DCI-P3, and >90% Rec. 2020, as well as SDR brightness of >1200 nits and HDR peak brightness of >2000 nits. Enabled by Nanolumi’s Chameleon® G Film and red potassium fluorosilicate (KSF), this prototype combines the industry’s narrowest green and red emitter to enable LCD displays with excellent colours and brightness, but unlike an OLED display, will not result in burn-ins / ghosting even at peak luminance of >2000 nits.

Chameleon® G Film
Industry’s first perovskite QD green colour enhancement film for displays.
Achieve exceptional brightness and unprecedented wide colour gamut performance of over 90% Rec. 2020, 99.X% Adobe RGB and 99.X% DCI-P3 in displays of all sizes. Chameleon® Film is designed to offer ultra-narrow spectral emissions enabling monitors, notebooks and tablets with high colour purity, brightness, HDR contrast and lifelike details.
Nanolumi’s core technology is engineered for fast colour-tuning and high volume scalability; Perovskite QD is cadmium-free, highly tuneable, possesses high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) and has the narrowest emission (FWHM).
Technical Data Sheet
Perovskite QD Colour Converters
Going beyond 98% Rec. 2020.
Nanolumi is developing perovskite QD into an inkjet printing (IJP)-compatible material for QD colour converters (QDCC) for wide colour gamut and energy-efficient LCD, MiniLED, OLED and MicroLED displays.
Perovskite QDCC offers optical density (OD) >2 (equivalent to >99% blue light absorption rate), narrow emissions (FWHM) of ~20nm for red and ~30nm for green, leading to colour gamut coverage of 100% Adobe RGB, >99% DCI-P3 and >98% Rec. 2020.
