QMC could add features. If there are different Covid-19 vaccines developed, it could show which one you were given. Same with treatments. Same with other viruses.
For now, the use it is designed for is a huge market. So big there is room for both QMC and competitors to coexist. I think the key will be what niches a company decides to pursue. The market now is still the wild wild west. Large companies are disadvantaged by their size, their ability to adapt and provide great service to smaller clients and even their not understanding individual clients but attempting one size fits all marketing.
QMC is in the ecosystem business, building end to end supply chains, track and trace, and health statuses.
Squires is assembling people who share his ability to see the big picture. People with more than one talent who have done what they are asked to do now, but who have been pursuaded of the larger opportunities that QMC affords them to develop. Like attracts like. Check them out this weekend. Steve Ballmer did not start Microsoft but he did just fine.
