What I've learned (perhaps re-learned) from the response to this pandemic is that BP and establishment don't really care about all the people suffering/dying. They go thru the motions of saying the right things, having the right reactions, etc., but hide under cover of regulations to push their own agendas linked to how much money THEY can make.

Those in power/dominant class have only one goal: power itself. They care about the people only insofar as this helps to preserve and increase their power. The logic is the same as one guiding all economic activities (at least under capitalistic system). Companies produce goods not for the sake of the people but for profit which they can get only selling something people need or imagine they do. The rulers of India are no different than the rulers of this country. They approved itolizumab not because they "really care" about their population any more than US establishment, but because in the case of India this is a rational decision for preserving their power at home and internationally for it would diminish or even collapse if the pandemic get out control and produce chaos. In contrast, US ruling elites are more confident about their power, which includes the power and international standing of the FDA and other state agencies. They are too full of themselves, at least for now. This is why I believe that FDA's approval of our Covid indication on the basis of M/M is highly unlikely. Even if the p # will have 10 zeros.
