What I've learned (perhaps re-learned) from the response to this pandemic is that BP and establishment don't really care about all the people suffering/dying. They go thru the motions of saying the right things, having the right reactions, etc., but hide under cover of regulations to push their own agendas linked to how much money THEY can make.
At least the Indian people can point to the drug out of India that got approved as the government putting their peoples' lives ahead of corporate profits given how quickly they adopted its use once they saw it saves lives. What's the phrase, 'shoot first (after strong anecdotal evidence) ask questions later'? This would be an appropriate response to CV-19 here in the US.
