I would love to take a peek at his 1099s. There's no sane reason why he should take such a consistently negative stance publicly without a (self-serving) reason. I'll note again that mid-level media are paid a pittance (AF prob around $70k tops); and AF has at least one kid to support; NYC cost of living is brutal, etc. My money's on him "consulting" for a big Pharma or one of their connected vendors (IR, PR, lobbying firms). As someone who works on the margins of NYC media - this is my best educated guess.
