Todos Medical CEO Gerald Commissiong Discusses Third-Party Payer Coverage for COVID-19 Testing in SGF Webinar
Gerald Commissiong, CEO of Todos Medical, headquartered in both the U.S. and Israel, will host a Webinar with Andreea Porcelli, CEO of Swiss Growth Forum, Thursday, 7th May introducing its pre-commercial stage in vitro diagnostics company focused on the development of blood tests for the early detection of cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, and other ongoing initiatives including its novel coronavirus (COVID-19) joint venture Corona Diagnostics, LLC. Todos Medical notes that the U.S. government has mandated private and public (Medicare/Medicaid) reimbursement coverage with no patient co-pays for both its rapid Point-of-Care (POC) Blood Antibody Test Kits (Ab POC Test Kits) and its SARS-CoV-2 Detection Kits. Along with its partner Gibraltar Brothers, Todos Medical is working toward beginning sales of Ab POC Test Kits. Todos also notes that it will utilize its joint venture with Emerald Organic Products (OTC:EMOR) to market its test kits to the 5,000 independent pharmacies in New York State following Governor Andrew Cuomo’s new executive order to permit pharmacies to become testing centers. Emerald has an online network of 7,000 independent pharmacies throughout the U.S. With agreements to market five different tests on both an exclusive and non-exclusive basis, Todos hopes to help support the return to normal daily life.
