Not a scientist and don’t want to start a rumor but I believe the RANTES blocking is part of the CCR5 antagonism. So part of the CCR5 blocking MOA.
In other words, to my understanding, RANTES (CCL5) is a protein that is a part of virus cells (for example) binding to the CCR5 receptor on T regulatory cells (for example).
Like Ohm20 said though. The dozens of ways these MOAs and maybe others interact with many diseases is mind boggling. It truly is.
What’s your Favorite MOA?
Currently mine is Angiogenesis. It’s kinda like when we uplist. We will cut off the blood supply to all the shorts!
