I hope your friend is doing well. As for the test

As for the test, it may have been the " SARS-CoV-2 Detection Kit" to see if they actually have it at the time.
So, they may have had it in their system but not yet detectable by that test which is why
IgM/IgM-based antibody test is critical. The antibody test is so important for the reasoning that it can pick up early infection and to see if one has had it and is now possibly "immune" to it.
Maybe a person didn't show symptoms in a major way and or was confused with or excused as flu symptoms.
And that leads us to the 3rd test we have,
SARS-CoV-2 / Influenza A/B Detection combo kit.
This will be so critical this fall (maybe sooner) when the second wave hit and Flu season starts up.
It will be important to understand which one a patient has.
For TODOS have a suite of tests including (nasal, stool, saliva etc) plus having our own CLIA Lab that puts us in a very very unique position.
Gerald was tactical in how he approached this.
I'm expecting more testing data and Purchase Orders to come in "soon".
Gerald is not picking up the phone now to reach out to clients, they have been working on this since they first started discussing bringing in the tests.
Good luck to your friend and you, be safe.
Aloha
