“If the SP moves up to $5-$10, many will want to take the profit at least in part. I am not sure how i will unwind my position as this plays out, will I be pissed if i sell some at $5 and realize i could have waited a few weeks for $30?”
Taking profits to reduce risk and collect some, or all, of your initial investment, is never wrong. I’ve taken profits on stocks and then watched them go higher. I’ve also not taken profits and watched the SP plummet to a level where I couldn’t take profits. Myself and others have taken profits here on spikes and I don’t regret doing so and I don’t believe you will either.
