Zolis, very good post. At this point let Joe and his team (small as it is) do their work to move this company forward.
Joe released the press release recently because he wanted to the provide the most information that he public could so that we and other shareholders understand that they are working with BARDA and other agencies to get some funding. We all know that Joe and his team went to Washington DC for some purpose and we all had wild guesses. But we now know they went to meetings for funding from the government.
The government has indicated that they have funds for venturers working on the virus in whatever capacity and I believe we fall into that category. Moderna getting $483 million is absolutely crazy. I believe Johnson and Johnson or some other big pharma is working on a $1 billion dollar deal with the government.
We know we can't borrow from the $43 million based on the stock price so getting monies from BARDA or some other agency is our best route at the moment.
Generex should have provided more information this week to BARDA. Hopefully BARDA has the information that they need to grant a monetary award. Especially if we are able to show that we can have a vaccine done by September of this year or shortly thereafter.
Of course we will need monies to help us do the research to finalize the vaccine, but we will also need monies to the manufacturing. Part of the monies that Moderna received was for manufacturing also.
