Hi Ted, The output of the continuous flow reactor
Post# of 22456
The output of the continuous flow reactor has always been debatable.
I've heard higher tonnage, and lower, depending on what is being made, how many shifts and days in the year the machine operates. I really think only Squires knows.
I would also make the point that if they need more they make another machine happen. QMC sold two to the AMTRON JV.
You are right that "radioactive' is a big misspeak. He probably meant radiate, or just that they light up. We really don't know what quantum dots they are using, or what combination of composition of materials for the QD, and what they use to light them up and how they are read. We don't know if any phone works as a receiver, or special phones or if attachments are needed. We just know that they Jay says the model is "commercialization ready" today.
Regarding Jay's ID card, that may not be demonstrable because again, we don't know what QD they are using or how they would demonstrate the system. If the QD are in the IR range it would not be visible to the human eye. I agree its a matter of trust. The company won't divulge trade secrets or IP they want to protect.
About the Webinar, Jay did seem a bit flustered at the front end, but was very assured at the later parts, especially answering questions. Most of the video was geared to the blockchain community on how all the stacks work together. Many of the stacks are new to market (Jay said they are "ahead of the curve" and have had long development due to need for perfection when rolled out. However, at about 30:00 in, the pair answer questions from viewers on more specific uses - Jay Williams mentions possible DApps that QMC might be working on, including Luxury Products, Oil, Food Service, Seeds and Auto Parts such as Brake Pads. Jay also speaks on questions about how quantum dots are used to provide product security throughout the supply chain. That part was well spoken and went too fast. There were more questions they felt they did not have time to answer.
I am looking forward to Monday's Atlantic Council talk. A lot of heavy hitters in that organization, and they are very interested in blockchain, security and supply chain.
