Indeed we are living in a Bizarre Bhawksian World!!!!!!!!!

The below is a typical Librul Nutburger way to handle an argument. Leave out what's probably most important why something came about.

Quote:
• Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote. State decision, you against State's rights? DUI's and traffic fatalities correlate with underage drinking.

Yes, raising the drinking age from 18 to 21 was a decision made by South Carolina as well as most/all other states during the 80's. However, what you failed to mention was that had they not made that decision then all federal funds for building roads, road repair, bridges, etc., would have shrank down to zero. And faced with the dreaded number zero, well, I think the SC legislature would have raised the drinking age to 92 had Uncle Sugar insisted.

NOOOOOOOOO, I am not for teenagers drinking and wished none of them did. However, until I can come up with an argument that would explain, without BS, to an 18 year old why he/she is old enough to die face down in the mud while fighting for this country but is not old enough to pop a top, then, I'll reluctantly say, let the 18 year old drink.
